News OWC Intros 500GB Mercury On-The-Go Drive Thursday, April 17, 2008 - 4:40 PM EST Posted by: Glenn Other World Computing today announced the release of the 500GB Mercury On-The-Go, a new high-capacity version of their portable hard drive. The bus-powered drive offers FireWire 400, FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 connections. It also features a hard disk drive mechanism operating at 5400 RPM and custom bridge solution featuring the Oxford924 chipset. The drive ships with a carrying case, USB and FireWire cables, Prosoft DataRescue III for OS X, and NovaStor NovaBackup for Windows.
