News MediaCentral 2.7 Released Thursday, March 20, 2008 - 1:40 PM EST Posted by: Charles Equinux today announced the release of MediaCentral 2.7, a new version of their media center software for Mac OS X. The new version includes a completely overhauled TV engine. According to the company, this provides better picture quality, faster channel switching and direct access to recordings made by The Tube software. The update also improves compatibility with iPhoto '08 libraries. MediaCentral 2.7 is priced at $29.95, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later with an active internet connection.
