Rodney Kerstetter has released MetaX 2.3.2 for Mac OS X 10.5. MetaX, as you might already know, is a free meta-data tagging application for mp4 files and their derivatives. It uses Atomic Parsley on the back-end for tag writing. Tags can be imported automatically from Amazon.com or typed in by the user. Cover art tags can be retrieved from Amazon.com, Yahoo!, or from the movie frames themselves. According to Rodney, one of the most exciting new features in MetaX 2.3.2 is the ability to export archived data. You can now share your tag data with friends, or just create backups for later use.
Other new features and improvements include:
Code speedups thanks to Objective C 2.0

Movie poster drawer is now a dynamic listing with more posters

Application windows remember position between sessions

Added ability to open entire directories of files

Archive search is now case insensitive

Added support for correct disk and track numbering

Added QuickLook plugin for exported archive files

Added Spotlight plugin for exported archive files

Presets are now sortable

Improved iTunes plugin

Several UI improvements
MetaX 2.3.2 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later. The download weighs in at 3.3MB.
