News Briefly: Apple Launches Web Apps Directory Thursday, October 11, 2007 - 5:05 PM EST Posted by: Glenn Apple today officially launched its directory of web-based applications designed for the iPhone and iPod touch. The directory currently lists over 200 third-party applications divided into eleven categories. The categories include Calculate, Entertainment, Games, News, Productivity, Search Tools, Social Networking, Sports, Travel, Utilities, and Weather.
