News MediaCentral 2.6.2 Released Thursday, July 26, 2007 - 3:17 PM EST Posted by: Charles Equinux today released MediaCentral 2.6.2, an updated version of their media center software for Mac OS X. According to the company, this release features a completely new TV module. Both the channel search and the TV display have been improved. PPC-based Macs (using a G4 or G5 processor) will also profit from enhanced stability and full Altivec support for the deinterlacing function. The new version also includes minor fixes to audio track selection and Czech EPG display. MediaCentral 2.6.2 is free to all MediaCentral 2.x users. For new users, the cost is $29.95.
