News LaCie Intros 2TB Big Disk Extreme+ Thursday, July 19, 2007 - 9:10 PM EST Posted by: Brian LaCie today unveiled the triple-interface Big Disk Extreme+ with LaCie Shortcut Button and included EMC Retrospect backup and recovery software for Windows/Mac OS. The storage solution is equipped with FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 interfaces, as well as a utility that allows users to back up files or launch any application by pushing the front blue button. The LaCie Big Disk Extreme+ is offered in 1TB, 1.5TB, and 2TB capacities. They are available immediately online and will be widely available through LaCie's specialized dealer network later this month starting at the suggested retail price of $350.
