News Equinux intros TubeStick digital TV for Mac Thursday, March 1, 2007 - 11:46 AM EST Posted by: Charles Equinux today introduced TubeStick, a white Apple-esque DVB-T receiver designed exclusively for the Mac. TubeStick connects to a USB port and ships with Equinux's new TV software "TheTube". The device also works seamlessly with Equinux's own media center solution, MediaCentral. TubeStick is based on the DVB-T standard, which has found widespread adoption across Europe and is available in most European countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia, France and the UK. DVB-T is not available in the United States or Canada. The TubeStick Special Edition, including TheTube and MediaCentral, is available for a recommended retail price of €39,95.
