Apple said today that it will delay the release of the Apple TV until mid-March. "Wrapping up Apple TV is taking a few weeks longer than we projected, and we now expect to begin shipments mid-March," said Apple spokeswoman Lynn Fox. Steve Jobs introduced the Apple TV during his Macworld Expo keynote last month in San Francisco. The Apple TV is designed to connect to a digital television and wirelessly stream music, videos and photos stored on a computer running Apple's iTunes Music Store. The device has a 40-gigabyte hard drive and can store up to 50 hours of video.
