Mac Mini News Macpower Readies M9 SATA Enclosures Friday, June 2, 2006 9:32 PM EST Macpower has recently announced that it will be releasing three new M9 enclosures for 3.5" SATA hard drives this summer. The M9 series of enclosures are designed to complement the Mac Mini. The M9-DX2 uses the Oxford 924 DSA chipset, and features an integrated 3-Port FireWire and 3-Port USB 2.0 hub. The M9-S2H uses the J-Micron 20336 chipset, and features an integrated 3-Port USB 2.0 hub and eSATA port. The M9-S2 also uses the J-Micron 20336 chipset, but only offers USB 2.0 and eSATA connectivity. It does not include an integrated USB 2.0 hub. All three models will accommodate a single 3.5" SATA-I or SATA-II hard drive and feature Macpower's smart fan technology. M9-DX2 M9-S2H M9-S2 More Information:   Discuss   More News
