Mac Mini News Mac mini Portable Project Thursday February 9, 2006 2:08 PM EST Peter Green has posted pictures and information about his Mac mini portable project, otherwise known as the "MMP" on his website. Before you go and say, "Why didn't he just buy a iBook or PowerBook?" Give this guy some credit for the concept. There are definitely some interesting modifications going on here. First off, he built a custom enclosure for his 1.25GHz Mac mini that includes an 8" TFT LCD and touchpad. The enclosure itself measures 8.5" x 6.5", and is made out of 3mm aluminum sheeting. The thing we found most interesting about the "MMP" was how it gets its power from a single 14.8V Lithium-Ion battery.
