Mac Mini Repair and Upgrade Program
Friday June 10, 2005 11:31 PM EST
PowerMacResQ has unveiled a new Mac mini repair and upgrade program. The 24-Hour Mac mini repair service costs $69. Upon receipt of the order, an empty box is sent via overnight service to the customer. The customer then places their Mac mini inside of the box and calls a toll free number to schedule an overnight shipment back to PowerMacResQ's repair center. Once a diagnosis of the Mac Mini has been made, the customer is contacted with a repair cost estimate. The repaired computer is then shipped back to the customer via overnight service. Should the customer elect not to perform the repair, their Mini is returned to them via overnight service with no additional charges.
The PowerMacResQ upgrade program offers Memory, Hard Drive, SuperDrive, Airport Extreme,
and Bluetooth upgrades. The upgrades are installed by an Apple Certified Technician, and all pulled parts are returned to the customer. Additionally, PowerMacResQ will purchase unwanted or otherwise upgraded parts if the customer does not opt to have them returned.
