Apple cuts price on Cinema Displays

The "D" in BYODKM just got a little more affordable from Apple. Apple has announced price cuts with two of its Cinema Displays . The 20-inch model with 1680 x 1050 resolution and 16.7 million colors is now priced at $799 (lowered from $999) and the 23-inch HD model with 1920 x 1200 resolution and 16.7 million colors is now priced at $1,499 (lowered from $1799). Both models include a 2 port USB 2.0 HUB and 2 FireWire 400 ports and are VESA mount compatible. The Mac mini's DVI output is capable of displaying resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 pixels and supports both the 20-inch Apple Cinema display and 23-inch Apple Cinema HD display.
