Mac Mini M9 Module
Tuesday April 26, 2005 8:50 PM EST

Macpower & Tytech Technology has introduced the M9 Mac Mini Pod an external disk drive enclosure with a built in USB and FireWire port replicator for the Apple Mac mini. The M9 has 3 USB 2.0, 3 Firewire ports and will support any 3.5" ATA 6 compatible hard drive and has an interactive cooling system with a heat sink and Auto Sensing Smart Fan. The M9 is powered by an external power adapter which should help with cooling as well. This announcement comes on the heels of the Micronet's miniMate, another external hard disk and port extender for the Mac mini that begins shipping later this week. At this time we have no information on pricing or availability for the M9 Mac Mini Pod.

Technical Specifications:

  3 Firewire Ports
