Monday April 18, 2005 10:49 PM EST
ATI has updated their Displays control app and added support for the Mac mini. Displays 4.5 adds a new Advanced Display Scaling feature, Enabled Browse functionality in OpenGL Overrides and VERSAVISION is now enabled on the Mac mini. VERSAVISION allows you to view your desktop the way you want, providing hardware accelerated display rotation and scaling. Release notes for ATI Displays 4.5 are available from the ATI website. A direct download for ATI Displays 4.5 is also available from ATI. Note: Advanced Display Scaling and VersaVision features are not enabled until you restart your system after initially installing the ATI Displays Control Panel.

ATI Displays 4.5 on Mac mini:

[Update:] There's a bit of confusion coming out of ATI with the release of Displays 4.5. It looks like Displays 4.5 does not have VersaVision support for the Mac mini. The update does include Mac2TV and OpenGL Overrides. The release notes on the ATI website still say under the "What’s New Section" that VERSAVISION is now enabled on Mac mini as of 2:29 PM EST.
