News Apple Holding Special Media Event on March 2nd Wednesday, February 23, 2011 - 11:38 AM EST Posted by: Kenan Apple sent out invitations today for a special media event to be held on March 2nd. The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10:00 am in the morning. This is the same venue Apple has used to introduce a number of products in recent years. The invitations for this event simply read, "Come see what 2011 will be the year of." It also features an iPad in the graphics, suggesting that Apple will be introducing the next-generation iPad at this event.
