Hulu Subscription Service Coming in May?

The LA Times is reporting that Hulu, the ever popular website for watching television shows, is preparing to launch a paid subscription service in late May. The service, dubbed Hulu Plus, would allow users to stream back episodes and perhaps older shows from their catalog for $9.95 a month. The five most recent episodes of current television shows would remain free for all users though.
"Under the proposal, Hulu would continue to provide for free the five most recent episodes of shows like Fox's "Glee," "ABC's "Lost" or NBC's "Saturday Night Live." But viewers who want to see additional episodes would pay $9.95 a month to access a more comprehensive selection, called Hulu Plus, these people said."
So, would this be something of interest to those of you using your Mac mini as a media center machine? I could see myself jumping in with an improvement in video quality and no advertisements. It would also have to play nice with the Hulu Desktop.
