Here's some news that you Mac mini-based HTPC users might find of interest. Hillcrest Labs, maker of the Loop Pointer mouse, today announced the release of the Kylo Web browser. It's a new browser designed specifically for Macs and PCs connected to a high-definition television set. I haven't had much of a chance to try things out on the big screen, but key features are said to include:
an onscreen keyboard that appears when there is a need to enter text, eliminating the need for a physical keyboard;

fonts, cursor, and onscreen targets are larger than those in traditional browser;

easy zooming and panning;

the maximization of useful viewing space by hiding or removing toolbars, tabs, buttons and indicators;

easy bookmarking;

a directory of links to dozens of popular Web sites;

and a Mozilla-based design.

The Kylo Web browser is available now as a free download. Let me know what you think!
