News MPlayer OSX Extended and VLC Get Updated Monday, February 1, 2010 - 9:23 AM EST Posted by: Glenn The MPlayer OSX Extended and VLC players were updated for users over the weekend. The latest version of MPlayer OSX Extended, Revision 13, brings redesigned player, preference and inspector windows, interactive audio and video equalizers, and support for multiple player instances. It also includes numerous bug fixes and smaller improvements. The update weighs in at 21MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later. The latest version of VLC, v1.0.5, basically includes improved support for the 2009 Apple Remote. This update weighs in at 30.6MB and also requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
