News Apple Releases Aluminum Keyboard Firmware Update 1.1 Monday, January 25, 2010 - 4:23 PM EST Posted by: Glenn Apple has released the Aluminum Keyboard Firmware Update 1.1 via their Software Update Utillty and website. According to the company, this firmware update improves battery performance of the 2007 Apple Wireless Keyboard when used with the Apple Magic Mouse and some Bluetooth headsets. It also addresses an issue with the 2007 Apple Keyboard and the 2007 Apple Wireless Keyboard, where a key may repeat unexpectedly while typing. The Aluminum Keyboard Firmware Update 1.1 weighs in at 1.52MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or 10.6.2.
