News iTunes Preview Adds Song Previews Thursday, January 7, 2010 - 1:10 PM EST Posted by: Kenan Apple has quietly started offering 30-second song previews in iTunes Preview. The song previews are being served up via QuickTime in 44.100kHz AAC at 300+ kbps. This news has some people in the Apple community thinking that Apple might have larger plans in mind for iTunes Preview with recent acquisition of Lala, but for now, it continues on as a way to share and browse iTunes content via a web browser without having to launch the application.
