Google has released the first public beta version of their Chrome browser for Mac users. As many of you know, the developer builds of the popular web browser have been around for almost six months, but build number 4.0.249.30 marks the first beta release of the software offered to the public. And I think you will agree, it was well worth the wait. The Chrome for Mac beta weighs in at 17.6MB and requires an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.5.6 or later.
