News Apple Intros Aluminum Remote Control Tuesday, October 20, 2009 - 2:21 PM EST Posted by: Glenn Apple today introduced a new aluminum Apple Remote for Mac, iPhone and iPod users. According to the company, this remote gives you total command of your music, photos, videos, and DVDs from anywhere in the room. It also works with Front Row to make accessing the digital content on your Mac as simple as navigating your iPod. The remote is compatible with the iPod Universal Dock and Macs introduced in 2005 or later that have a built-in infrared receiver. The aluminum Apple Remote is priced at $19 and should start shipping in 2-4 weeks.
