Mac mini and iMac Updates Soon?

Well, the Apple rumor mill is heating up about the Mac mini and iMac getting updated this month. We haven't been able to confirm much when it comes to the possibility of the Mac mini being updated or new pricing, but here's what we've been able to learn so far. The SKU for the low-end model has reportedly been discontinued, stock levels of both models (new and refurb) are sitting at lows, and the ship dates of both models have slipped from 24 hours to 1-3 days. Plus, we are now sitting at 31 weeks since the last update. The average time between updates has been 36 weeks since the Mac mini was introduced in 2005. Based on this evidence, things are indeed looking good for an update here in October. Then again, if we've learned anything over the last few years, it's that nothing is a given when it comes to the Mac mini being updated. So welcome, my friends, to the trick or treat month. What's it going to be?
