Well, it looks like Monoprice will be coming out with a similar adapter of their own. According to the product page on their website, this adapter utilizes the power of USB to combine the benefits of Mini DisplayPort video with USB digitally synthesized audio and combines it into a single, convenient HDMI signal. No other specifics are given, but we expect it to basically look and function like the Kanex adapter shown on the right.
