News Missing Manual for Snow Leopard Coming in August Thursday, July 2, 2009 - 6:00 PM EST Posted by: Glenn O'Reilly recently announced that Mac OS X Snow Leopard: The Missing Manual would be hitting store shelves in August. According to the publisher, this update of David Pogue's immensely popular series of Mac manuals will offer a wealth of information on Apple's latest operating system. The 1000-page book has a suggested retail price of $34.99. It's available now for pre-order from O'Reilly and retailers like Amazon and Barnes and Noble. O'Reilly also announced that Switching to the Mac: The Missing Manual, Snow Leopard Edition is set for an October release. This 608-page book is for new users making the transition from Windows to the Mac and Snow Leopard. It's also available for pre-order from O'Reilly and various retailers for $29.99.
