News Apple Releases iPhone and iPod touch 2.2.1 Software Update Tuesday, January 27, 2009 - 2:22 PM EST Posted by: Brian Apple has released the 2.2.1 Software Update for the iPhone and iPod touch. According to the company, this update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:   Improved general stability of Safari   Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll   Fixed issue that caused some Apple Lossless (ALAC) audio files to skip during playback with iPod touch The 2.2.1 Software Update weighs in at approximately 248MB.
