Elgato Releases EyeTV 3.1

Elgato has finally released the EyeTV 3.1 update, a new version of their DVR software for Mac OS X. The update was announced earlier this month at Macworld 2009 along with the new EyeTV Hybrid tuner. New features in EyeTV 3.1 include Macrovision's TV Guide EPG, Smart Series Guides, EPG Search By Genre and Parental Controls. It should be noted that one year of the Macrovision TV Guide EPG service is included for new and all existing EyeTV 3 users. After that, an additional year of service is available for $19.95. EyeTV 3.1 also includes support for new hardware and numerous bug fixes.
To download EyeTV 3.1, launch EyeTV 3 and then select "Check for Updates" from the EyeTV menu. The software update will install automatically.
