News Apple Releases Mail Update 1.0 Tuesday, December 23, 2008 - 4:58 AM EST Posted by: Charles Apple has released Mail Update 1.0 via its Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, this update addresses stability issues with Mail. Some users have experienced crashes with the application after upgrading to Mac OS X 10.5.6. This can be caused by having outdated third-party Mail plugins installed, or by using a copy of Mail that wasn't updated properly. If Mail Update 1.0 does not appear in Software Update, you do not need to install it. More information about this update can be found here.
