News Perian 1.1.2 Released Monday, October 20, 2008 - 9:16 PM EST Posted by: Glenn The Perian team has announced the release of Perian 1.1.2, an update to their popular QuickTime component for Mac OS X. Key improvements in this release include:   Fixed update checker never running - this version requires a manual install   Enabled frame-dropping on AppleTV   Fixed some frames being lost in AVCHD/.mp4 with newer versions of QuickTime   Fixed another ffmpeg crash on G3s Perian 1.1.2 weighs in at 2.6MB and requires Mac OS X 10.4.7 or later.
