News Remote Buddy 1.11 Released Friday, August 1, 2008 - 5:03 PM EST Posted by: Brian IOSPIRIT today announced the release of Remote Buddy 1.11. The minor update adds support for iTunes 7.7.1. According to the developer, the AppleScript support of iTunes 7.7.1 works differently than it did in all previous releases of iTunes. This broke support for iTunes in the previous version. Remote Buddy 1.11 also adds a new "Behaviour" for Plex, the popular media center software for Mac OS X. Other improvements in this release include:   Further improved speed of the iTunes library support.   Added new categories to the iTunes media library browser: music videos, composer, audiobooks.   Improved handling of multi-disc albums by the iTunes music library browser.   Further improved bandwidth efficiency of the AJAX Remote.   Fixed a problem where single-track albums in shared libraries could not be accessed.
