Curt's Mac mini setup

My setup:
- 1.66GHz Mac mini with 2GB RAM
- 250GB LaCie mini
- 50" Sony KDS-50A2000
- Sony DVD Dream System DAV-FX500
- DirecTV HD Receiver

I still have some screen issues to clear up with DisplayConfigX, but everything is coming together. I also want to get an XpressCable from Griffin for the Mac mini. It took a while pulling up the carpet to hide the speaker cables for the rear speakers. They sit to the outside of two La-Z-Boy recliners. I'm also a big fan of MediaCentral for Video_TS folder playback, so I want to buy a few external drives for the bottom right shelf in the TV stand. I'm thinking about some LaCie d2s.

It looks like I paused Cars at the right time! ;-)

Lovely setup

One question for everyone in the mac mini forum (it may sound stupid but i'll ask anyways) --- what do you guys do most with a mini hooked up to a bigscreen tv?

Thanks! I mostly use it for the playback of movies and music with Front Row, MediaCentral and distantDVD. I also use it for surfing the net, email and playing games. I was doing the same thing on a 27" ViewSonic LCD TV before getting the Sony. I forgot to mention that I have an Apple wireless keyboard and Mighty Mouse.
