did you install it or did you get a professional install for the tv?

great setup...I have the 50" panasonic...i have the dvi to HDMI cable and just ordered the step down cable to go dvi to mini dvi...Does the HDMI to DVI carry audio or do you need different cable...and if you choose to not use receiver and hook directly to tv,where do you plug the cable, and what type? Thanks!
i am planning on using the mini dvi-dvi adapter to connect my macbook to panasonic...currently do not have a mini...

The system was installed by my brother and I (not professionals!). The DVI -> HDMI cable only carries video so I have a digital optical cable also going from Mini to YP-800 for the audio. TV takes both analog audio (RCA) and digital. Of course if the Mini had HDMI that would be best as TV does. Rest of system is upstairs including G4 tower (1GB mem, digital audio speakers, i-Sub, 120 and 60 GB internal HDs, USB 2.0), D-Link wireless router, HP all-in-one (printer, scanner, copier, and fax), 250 GB External HD (Western Digital USB & Firewire), Griffin PowerMate.

What wireless/keyboard/mouse combo diud you decide to use? - any others find one they like...using a mouse on the couch is awkward!

I'm wondering how that Yamaha soundsytem sounds like, I can't think it will replace a real 5.1 setup...
