Jhkingsr's iMac setup
|
Got a new iMac and I needed an external enclosure for a backup/storage drive but couldn't find anything suitable. Turns out I found it already on my desk as I used it with my mini. It's a Newertech miniStack v3.
The extra usb ports are really handy, the iMac only has 3. I partitioned the 750gb into backup (~300gb) and file storage (~400gb). FW 800 is used for the interface.
The white/aluminum clashed a bit with the iMac, so out came a can of black Krylon. Turned out pretty good.

The WP is especially cool with the reflections on the real desk. Your HD looks cool with your setup.

Really cool man!! Love it. The reflections do really go with the desk-surface. And the external HD really look good with your mod...

I agree, cool wallpaper. Can't wait to see what it looks like on my HDTV connected to a Mini. I have the same camera, a beat up and well used Casio Exilim.
