Bill L's Mac mini setup
|
My setup:
- Mac Mini 1.66 core duo with 2 gigs RAM and 80 Gig HD
- LaCie 250 Gig HD (another one on the way)
- 20" Cinema Display
- new Bluetooth keyboard (I love it)
- Apple Bluetooth mouse
- iPhone
- iPod Shuffle
- JBL Creature Speakers
Not pictured is an original Mac Mini G4 1.42. It sets under my Airport Extreme N. connected by Ethernet. The G4 serves music to all the other computers in the house.

Setting an Airport Extreme Base Station ontop of the Mini is probably not a good thing. To my knowledge, the base station gets really hot and would thus heat up the Mini.

I've watched for that and mine doesn't get that hot.

Nice, clean setup. Perhaps you might try hiding the Mac mini's power brick under the desk.

Actually as soon as this picture was snapped I moved the cinema display brick behind the desk. Also in the picture is my 12" Powerbook 1.33
