Nice Display! But Windows? Why would you do that to yourself?, seriously...
Windows? a Screen that huge? Bald? Man, you got issues....
Awesome looking display! What kind is it?
A monitor like this one can take the vidio output from MAC, PC, DVD player, etc. So what's under your desk?

the simplicity & elegance of the mac is really set off by that bald head, sheer and utter joy to behold. a glorious experience teetering on pure nirvana which is what using a mac is, nirvana. it's the best thing in the world. a computer. i'm 10 but learned the worlds "elegance & simplicity" in school so i wanted to use them. bald is beautiful, you go girl.

Wow I've never seen anyone use something like that is JUST a monitor. Or use it on a desk. This is first setup on the site that I can see a person in the picture.
u need more light!!!!. u are going to get glasses dude
Nice and clean setup, Jay. What is your expereince using MS Windows on a mac?
DANG look @ that big 'ol screen. U ON BOOTCAMP!? whoo whee, that a big ol HD
windONG ! what a mess !!!

My Mac mini is running Windows 2003 Advanced Server Enterprise Edition VIA Boot Camp. Other than no sound drivers or WiFi, it works quite well. Why W2K3 on a mini? Why not! I won the copy of Windows at an MS event. Its NFR, so I cannot use it for a real server. Never opened it until I got the mini and a really crazy idea.

man I love that monitor, and i'm thinking about buying Apple's 30" inch display but I have to get rid of my 23" inch apple monitor first, i'm also trying to get rid of my fully loaded XPS to pay for the upcoming Intel PowerMac, so if anyone interested e-mail me at darrelljackson@cox.net
To "bsnoel": It would be nice to see your mini running W2K3 photo posted. But I wonder how practical it is to run this way.
By the way, nice desk Jay.
Why do this to yourself ? Windows is evil. You'd be better of smoking crack and teasing cops.
The iSight looks soooo tiny up there.

The first thing I thought when I saw this picture was "Good Lord!" That's all I can still say. I am disappointed in all the haters though that seem to be jealous more than anything.
im jealous so i say the setup sucks and rate down to make myself feel better
looks to me like your slouching in your chair to make the screen look bigger
absolutely amazing! Great setup, nice looking interior and a well presented work space. I think you're the first person to actually make an appearance in the photo gallery well done! Your the perfect example of a fine gentleman
I need a tissue...
... ... ... ... good Lord!
i think i see a dead pixel.
what monitor actually is it!? Its great!
Thanks guys. The monitor is a Westinghouse LVM-37w3. I really like it - looks great at 1920x1080. I really wanted a 30" Cinema Display, but the little old Mac Mini video can not drive it. So, this was the next best setup as far as I could find. For all you folks that don't like XP, I run OSX also, but I run XP under BootCamp. It works great - supports Wifi, Bluetooth and (obviously) the video res. As a recent Apple convert, there are still a lot of apps that I need that are not ported to OSX, so I boot between the 2 OSes as needed.

Why the haters of windows? You have a mac mini with a Intel chip! BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! Why hate? Hes still got MAC OS on there!!!
I wouldn't mind staring at Windows all day on that display.
do you chat with people with the ichat and your isight??? that must be freaky 1980's scary with such a big head up there!
you could take off the sticker on your HDTV
People who hate on windows just refuse to see reality - the Mac mini is an INTEL PC. Wake-Up people stop hating hate wars have long been over.
@Rob That might be true, but it's an Intel PC that runs OS X. The war continues!
I see Boot Camp strikes again..
true enthusiasts keep their stickers on!!
Thinning here too, at least Rob has the guts to go all the way! I love the monitor. Doesn't it make you feel as if you are in a flight deck of a small space ship? Apple rules, with or without Windows.
DAMN O DAMN, look at the mon-i-tor, freakin scary, that a dollar bill there?
That is really cool, Jay. Your presence in the picture really gives a good perspective of how huge that monitor is compared to my 23"! Congratulations on a great setup!
I still can't quite figure out how you managed to take that picture with both hands on your keyboard
Cool
Jay, I hope you check this considering it's been months. I am curious if the Mini set it to 1920x1080 right out of the box, or if you had to mess with it. I am looking to purchase the exact same monitor, but want to make sure it will display 1080p from the Mini out of the box. Thanks man!
Nice!
That is wicked cool. I have to say, though, that it's hilarious to me to see geeks divided over platform issues - you have both now - live it up!
Why torture yourself, but nice screen, but don't you think you're a little close to it?
OMG a 36" for a computer monitor??? holy crap!
Where did you get the desk? I need a corner desk and it looks lik eyou have a nice one.
THIS STILL MAKES ME CRY OF LAUGHTER!!!
2.5 years and your setup still rocks!!!!!!
