Excellent Richard, Good looking screen indeed (doesn't the illuminated Sony badge distract?) I think your LaCie D2 case is upside down, isn't it?

Thanks for the comments. - Well yup, the wii is kinda hidden in that pic but is indeed on the right hand shelf next to the vcr and toppy.
- The Sony sign is illuminated but you can turn it off in the menu if you don't like it, I've only had the screen a few days but it doesn't seem to bother me at the moment.
- The lacie can be stood either upright or flat, I think its the right way up?
- Connection-wise the 360 is hooked up via component lead. The dvd player is also hooked up via component which means I also finally get to use the progressive scan option. The mini is connected via a dvi->hdmi lead which I got thrown in free when I bought the screen.

"doesn't the illuminated Sony badge distract?" I think it looks too cool to be distracting.

- The 360 is hooked into the airport base station via an ethernet cable which means I'm able to use Xbox Live. I've a terrible addiction to gears of war, which looks great in 1080i. The wii connects into my wireless network and I've still got the pvr connected into the mini via usb for archiving tv. I've got a spare hdmi input but that's being reserved for a Playstation 3. Finally I'm going to download displayconfigx soon and try and get the most out of the mini/sony combo.

The Sony looks lovely. Its the first LCD that i think beats the Philips AmbiLight range for looks. I'm seriously thinking about pre ordering a PS3, nextgen Gaming and a Blueray dvd player.....i'm in heaven.

The PS3 is released here in Australia next friday, I bet it'll look fantastic on the LCD although its a shame that it doesn't upscale dvd's.
