Dan's Mac mini setup
Mac mini with LaCie 500Gb hub, MX5000 BT Laser KB/M, 19" Acer AL1916W, Griffin Powermate, Alesis IO2 & Palm TX. Sitting on a corner desk i made out of some old worktops. The screen is on a really cool swivel arm that can rotate in virtually any direction:- i can have the screen in portrait mode if i need. The palm sits in its hotsync cradle and the mouse charges automatically in it's cradle too. The Alesis IO2 will have a few wires coming out of it, but it looks more tidy without ;-) and this picture was taken before i cluttered my desk again with postits and paper and pens and various other oddments. The griffin powermate is really cool, it glows blue around the base, and it feels really solid and heavy under your hand. The black wire coming from the right of the LaCie is a white LED stem, and although you can't see it (hidden behind the screen) it is pointed down at the apple logo on top of the mini, so it glows nicely in the dark. :-D

This isn't my setup, but Griffin's website says the cable is 22". It also comes with 40" extension cable.

that's really strange. I too have the logitech mx5000 bluetooth desktop (keyboard and mouse) and although they're gorgeous.. they plain dont work well with the mac.. Ever get the thing where you type and tttttttttttttttttttthis happens?... Mighty Annoying. I'm dedicating my summer to getting my mac mini inside the body of an imac g4 with the 'sunflower' or 'pixar' screen. I'm going to have to gut the screen though and replace it with a different lcd panel. I will post my results, and my current setup.

The IO2 is for recording from Mic's, guitars etc (havn't had much time to use it yet:- will do at uni in september tho) and as a multi-output & volume control. The powermate cable runs from the back of the mini to where it sits plus a tiny bit more. The extension is nearly double this length. My MX5000 only ever ddouble sstutters llike tthis, except it's only ever the first word after a period of non-use (when it switches the BT to low power) so it's acceptable. Although annoying, and lack of drivers is rubbish. Logitech need to spend more money on their softwares. Thanks for the comments! And the ratings I'm number 1, though I'm sure it won't last...
