Nice setup, but it's crying out for a larger display.

I like the placement of the Apple stickers.

wow there's a display in that picture? Just kidding, I'm sure its fine, just looks small in comparison with everything else on that desk

Nice desk!

Who makes that desk???

Made it by myself, i know the screen is small (17''), but i'm just a student with not so much money It works fine though because the main goal is recording music.

Yea, nice job on the desk. The bottom piece looks really thick. What sort of finish did you put on it?

I always laugh and shrug when I see THE PHONE thrown in or the collection of video games and DVDs. Eesh. Nonetheless, the mic setup is hot. I think you need good studio monitors. And remove those dorky Apple stickers. Its about the music.

Most of the time I don't use the small speakers you see in the picture, I have bigger speakers ofcourse but you can't see them in this picture . The bottom piece is just 2 pieces of 18mm glued together.

How does the recording go using the mini.. Im a guitar player and wanted a home recording setup with mixer etc..Is the mini fast enough to handle your recordings?>

Some people say that the mini is not strong enough for home-recording. Well, with a core cuo and 2 Gb of RAM you easily can record up to 100 tracks without slowing your mini down! Anyway, you can record with a digital usb/firewire mixer plugged into the mini, and you can also record with an analog mixer that is routeed into the mini with an usb/firewire audio interface.
