Steffen M's Mac mini setup
|
I got a new desk this summer and I really had to replace that old Apple 17" CRT. So I bought me a 20" Apple Cinema Display this weekend.
My stuff:
- Intel core solo Mac mini 1,5 Ghz with 1 Gb RAM
- Apple Cinema Display 20"
- Apple Keyboard (I'll buy the new one in a few months)
- Apple Mighty mouse
- Apple Powerbook G3 (256 MB RAM, 80 Gb HD, Sonnet Aria Extreme 802.11g card and a new battery is on the way)

Congrats on the new Cinema! I like the desk too. IKEA?

Thanks, the "legs" are from the IKEA. The top of the desk I bought in a DIY-shop so I could use the whole length of my wall.

Cool, it also looks like you installed a couple of recessed lights.

Nice setup! And... is your PowerBook a Pismo? Great little machines, aren't they?

Beautiful. The wood really goes with the setup. I like the little power brick/cable holder at the back. Great idea. Is it bought or made???

My PowerBook is a Lombard 400 Mhz, so it's "almost" a Pismo. It's a great machine, it runs Tiger pretty well!
For the cable holder I bought a U-shaped tube and it "hangs" in a hook, I'll take a pic to show how it's attached to my desk.
