it would be cool if someone made a laptop dock for the mac mini hell i wouuld buy it.

Maybe it's a RAID setup? 1TB. I don't see anypoint in having an LCD display, unless this is a media center hub. W/ remote control and is strong enough to be put under a monitor/TV.

Whats the point? Looks pretty stupid to me. It blocks the air vents, and the ports at the back. A card reader? Needs to be smaller I think and go under the mini. I wouldn't ever have room for something so big.

Missing the point. The mini plugs into the dock with an extra firewire drive in the dock, 2nd drive optional. As for the fans, theres holes for the fans that vents thru the back of the dock and maybe even an extra fan helping the process. The main feature I like most about the design is the fact that I imagine it would be the same average size as your home stereo equipment. That would make the mini/dock the perfect companion to a home stereo entertainment center.

good idea i think as long as you was able to thing every thing cool its pefact, needs a really good sound card in the dock and two high quality speakers. and a lcd display. then i would buy it.
