sure looks like a 20" to me... are you sure it's a 23"? I have a 20" right here with my isight on it and it sure looks a lot like what you've got in comparison.

Yeah, it's a 23" and the monitor is 3.5"+ wider than the keyboard. What you're seeing is the exaggerated perspective of a wide angle lens up close. That's a 36" deep desk and with 6" of desk in front of the keyboard, there's still 13.5" between it and the monitor base, and over 3" between the monitor base and the wall.

you're right, my bad. it's the distance between the keyboard... if i look at the mini in comparison it's more obvious it's a 23'er... regardless of the size it's a sweet setup.

Thanks for the compliments about neat and clean. There was a lot of dropping string to the bottom to run wires behind it involved to get it clean looking like that. Regarding the speakers... in another life I was an audiophile and "Bose" stood for "Better Off with Something Else." The bass is muddy, but they're okay otherwise. If looks and cost weren't an issue, and this wasn't my office, I would've bought the Klipsh 2.1.

Awesome gear, but it might be time to buy a better digital camera! Was the 2GB RAM and 120GB HD aftermarket or BTO? If so, where did you buy the drive?

LOL! That picture was taken with the Intel webcam on my PC (90 degrees to the right). The memory and drive are Apple. The drive is a Seagate Momentus 5400.2.

Thank you. That desk has a modesty panel for structural strength 1" from the wall. I spent a lot of time with a pull string fishing all the wires and security cables down behind it. The "brick" is on the floor.

Now this is a sexay Mac mini setup. That ACD is absolutely stunning. Great setup!

Thanks, guys. Why over a 20" iMac? 1920 x 1200 (1080 HDTV) resolution, 23" vs 20" size, no chin, I keep the monitor and don't lose money on it if I upgrade the cpu.

"No chin" I would rather have a Core Duo Mac mini with a 23" Cinema than an iMac. The iMac looks like a white toilet seat. I've never liked the way it looks. I just hope Apple offers the MacBook in black because white is soooo played out.

Hi MiniMoe! Nice 23'' Display. I'm considering one too, but I only have the 1.42GHz PPC Mini and am wondering if my graphic card is able to handle the 23'' display. Any idea or feedback for me? Cheers, Greg
