DMXell's Mac mini setup

I have never owned a mac before (used them for about two years in school though) and had been wanted one for a while. Up until this week I was content with waiting, then I started looking on craigslist.org and found so many G4s that I could easily buy on my budget, but then I found this website and decided that I really would like the desk-space, so I decided to buy a Mac Mini. It's the basic 1.67 GHz, 60 GB HD and 512 MB of RAM. I found that it'd be cheaper to buy two sticks of 1 GB RAM online than to go through the Apple store ($100 total for them online), so for $700 I get a pretty decent Mac Mini.

This site convinced me to organize my desk a few days ago, then last night when I bought the Mac Mini it fit snugly wherever I wanted it to, so I played around with locations (on the LCD screen level and on the mouse and keyboard level) and found that the wallpaper setup (look on my wallpaper in the photo, I had to edit in a screenshot since the camera made it too bright) looked best to me. I think that I did have macro on when I took the picture, so sorry for the blurry picture in some areas.

Well I'm not exactly a new member, I've had two years of experience on old eMacs atr my school, this is just the first Mac I've boughten :-p The picture turned out reaslly bad, I need better lighting in my room. Thanks for the welcoming

Great choice on your first purchase. I like that desk, works well with everything!!! Great space.

Lol. Yeah, the desk is too big for me though. I want a small one for the Mini (glass too, seems too look best with the Mini to me). As for the Mini it's mainly my cheapest option aside from buying a G4 tower. I probably shouldn't have bought it since I need a Macbook Pro, but the envy got to me here. I'm actually surprised that it can play some games at pretty well framerate with only 512 MB of RAM, can't wait to see what 2 GB does to it tomorrow once my sticks of RAM get here :-p Here's a much better, and more recent, photo.
