"Homemade desk" Do you mean the actual desk or the display stand?

The stand I suppose, as you can see the screws on each side of the stand...

I made the display stand for my old desk, but I still use it. I made the desk out of a spare countertop and file cabinets. So I guess it isn't really "homemade".

How are the HK soundsticks? I've been thinking about getting those speakers.

The Soundsticks are great. The sound, look, and quality are amazing. Though you are suppose to have the subwoofer on the ground, I keep mine on my desk since it looks so cool!

I dig the chick with the cowboy hat on! Not like I am really looking at the hat!

Haha. I met her at a school fieldtrip this year. She was handing out posters with her autograph on it. She's not too hard to look at that's for shure.

"I made the desk out of a spare countertop and file cabinets." Well, you did a good job! I would rather have thick top like that than some of these desks from IKEA, Bush and Sauder have.

Thanks. I need to drill a couple more holes so I can hide the subwoofer wires and not make it go over the backsplash.

The young lady is dell enWOWed. So are those HK Soundsticks or are you just happy to.... Oh never mind. I like the desk. I made on just like it once myself. Those countertops are sturdy and strong; they can hold up your heavy computer well.
