Leif's Mac mini setup
|
|
This setup's in my bedroom. I generally sit on a beanbag chair at the foot of my bed and work. 42" plasma TV atop the entertainment center. Mac's on the second shelf, next to the keyboard. Wireless keyboard and mouse along with surround sound and WiFi Cable internet. About to buy EyeTV so I can watch while I work. My 17" PowerBook G4 sits atop the table beside the plasma screen. It's awaiting the return of my firewire cable so I can transfer info from it to the Mini. And yes, the walls are orange. They look better in person.

Forgot to mention, the mini is an Intel Core Duo with 2 gb of memory and the 120 gb hard drive. The iPod beneath the keyboard is a 60 GB video. The surround sound is a Pioneer something or other, and the black things next to the Mac mini are, respectively, a Seagate 120 GB external HD and a cable modem. The blue thing beneath is my WiFi transmitter, and the thing under it is my digital cable box.

Nice setup and but it seems like everyone on here buys nice TV and runs out of money by the time it's time to get a tv cabinet!

Plasma looks nice! What model Hitachi is it?

you dont put a plasma or lcd in a cabinet! but the components... they need a proper housing. and this works well i think. cant have everything be ultra modern, especially in a bed room.

I got it the other way around. Nice TV stand, crappy TV. That will be changing over the next few weeks though.

I like the wood stand You should change the blue desktop background to match the orange wall though
