Johan's Mac mini setup
This is my MacMini setup, with last secretly upgraded Mac Mini, LaCie Mini Companion, with 160 Gb Hitachi Deskstar 7K250 (changed the standard 80 GB myself), both on clear Palabox drawers containing DVDmedia. Next to it the powered D-Link USB hub and behind the Palabox a 4 way mini non powered USB hub. Next to it the Pioneer DW 110D in a Genesys Logics FW case. The just 15 inch LiteOn monitor is already some years old, but with very sharp picture and was expensive in its days! The Logitech Click Plus optical mouse feels very good, but unfortunately does not match with the mini colours. Its usb is connected to the keyboard. The speakers are B & O Beovox CX 50 on Ikea stands and there is a sub on the right of the desk. All is powered by a classic receiver, a Braun R1 and I tell you, this sounds good! Not in the picture is a Canon i560 printer and a HP scanjet 3400 C I need to replace, as there are no drivers for it in OSX, Vuescan or even Sane which can drive it (in Linux it worked good, strangely enough).

Ideas for the future: A Difusi BayMini, to replace the not matching D-Link USB Hub, a matching keyboard mouse combination like the Logitech S530 or the Macally Bluetooth combo, since I have Bluetooth anyway!Maybe a DVI TFT screen of 17 inch a bit more matching the mini and periferals and a USB soundcard to connect the stylish but rather junky microphone. A Hercules sound Muse pocket LT travel is on its way as an alternative of the iMic of Griffin. It has an extra headset coming with it, it has volumecontrol and it is cheaper!

Thanks, they are from Ikea, just like the cd cabinet over the desk, you can't see the Ikea deskchair!

No. I'm Dutch , I ordered from the Apple Store, while I could have bought a 1.43 in my hometown. They guaranteed me that I would NOT get the 1.5 model, so alas, they got no clientele from me! If they were smart, they should order from the Apple store and sold met the new one, so becoming me as a client, oh well...
