Im running 1192x680... i didnt have any problems with the tv excepting the signal, i just had some making the picture fill up the entire screen

Cool setup. You must have a long cable going to the M-Audio O2.
How have you got it connected to your tv? What cable did you use?
I originally had it hooked up with a monster DVI-HDMI cord, but when i compared it to just a cheapie VGA cable i saw no noticable difference so i stuck with the VGA

Dig the yellow Xbox. Since you've got an HDTV are you planning to get or do you already have an X360? Do it. They are beasts.

I think im gonna wait a little bit, at least until Halo 3 comes out... my next purchase is an HD DVD player when theyre released in march
i thought the same and i love the Master Chiefs' exploits as much as the next slavering fps fan but trust me, there are a number of games coming soon that will stuff Halo3 into a small damp hole! How does an online fpshooter with more than a thousand players per server sound to you? Yeah...i thought so.

Screw HD-DVD, go with Blu-Ray! Apple is supporting it, and it has much more capablility

HD-DVD comes out in march.... no official word on blu-ray consumer players.... HD wins for now

Sony's supposed to be releasing Blu-ray format in conjuction with the japanese unveiling of the PS3 ( boo! hiss! sorry, wrong forum.)

I am surprised that the VGA cable/connection gave you such good quality, I would have thought DVI better.
That looks like it's a lot of fun to use.

Um, just because HD-DVD comes out in march doesnt make it any better than Sony releasing the much more powerful Blu-Ray disc 3 or 4 months later. Plus, HD-DVD is half owned by Microsoft, which is a company I am totally against.

Nice, I was thinking on getting this exact TV with my tax money. I would have a similiar type set-up, surround sound and the big tv as well. I would of went the VGA way also, that way you can leave the DVI open for whatever (my Denon 7.1 receiver).

actually Prince, if you're gonna get picky about companies, evil or otherwise (i'm not keen on M$ but in all fairness the Xbox 360 does exactly what it says on the box!) HD DVD is being produced and distributed by Phillips. Msoft co-researched the initial technology but hundreds of third party developers will actually make them. Be it Blu-Ray or HD DVD it's all just more choice for the punters! I'll probably end up using both at some time or other for different things on different platforms.

Nice setup. The cans holding up the shelf are ghetto, but the rest looks nice indeed.
