Thanks you guys. I moved the speaker to one place because I started noticing a dark horizontal line parallel to the dock. I dont know what that meant but after I shifted the "magnetically shielded" speakers away things are 95% normal now.

Did you also try moving the speakers away from the Mac Mini itself? Because you say 95 % ok now. Are the speakers truly shielded then? Your dock has to be 100 % ok

Well, frankly speaking, I also changed the background wallpapers couple of times with different shades and colours. Moved the dock to the left and kept it there for about a week. Now the line is gone. I guess it was temporary.

Those Altec Lansing speakers are unsheilded. I have them. I keep them as far away from my screen as the cables will allow. I think they come with cable extenders.

That's an awesome setup, mate. Simple is better. Just seperate the speakers to get better sound.
