Great setup!
Drool! What KVM are you using between the Mac mini and Powermac?
I have an analog KVM, but I am not using it. I'm hoping to get a DVI KVM, but first I must pay off the G5. Right now, the HP PC is not connected to anything. The monitor has two inputs that I use to switch between the Macs. The top bluetooth keyboard is for the PowerMac, the bottom wireless keyboard is for the Mini.

Cool. I have the Mac mini with DVI and Dell with DVI. I have a Dell 19" LCD with dual inputs for DVI and VGA. The mini is hooked up to the DVI and the PC to VGA. I would really like to get a Bekin DVI KVM and have both use DVI.

That's a pretty setup you got there. I've always been a fan of that light wood coloring with silver. Drool is right.

Can I move in!

I think I have the same DVD Burner as you. Sony DRX-710UL? By the way, awesome setup!
I like the Apple lava lamp!
What kind of desk is that and where did you get it? It looks like you put two of the same desks together. Do you have any measurements (or estimates)? Great setup.
Let's see if I can answer a few of the questions. My DVD is actually one of the first DL drives, the DRX-700UL. There are two desks the one pictured is mine, the other is my wife's ( A PC User) . I got the desks about 1 year ago at Office Depot. I was going to get some new Anthro desks, but I saw these on sale for $114.00 each and grabed them. These desks are very heavy and fairly sturdy. I have mounted vinyl rain gutter to the back of the desks for cable managment.

Nice equipment. I hope it all gets well used.

Thanks! The primary use is of course to read 123macmini.com DOHH.... Dang!!! ---->I just realized, that I forgot to put my classic red Swingline 747 Office Space stapler in the photo.

Awesome setup.

Only 73 more payments and its all mine!

Very nice indeed. Similar taste to me and similar sending habits I love those 15" Powerbooks, they look amazing!
73 more payments!
I'm just kidding, I only owe on the PowerMac the rest of the stuff is paid for.

[...] G5 + PowerBook + Mini = Happiness! (and I just need to sell my house to get it all!) Awesome setup! Perfect touch with your Apple sticker too!
I'd be careful with the lava lamp. I left one on for a long period of time and it blew up. That gelly stuff was everywhere
I rarely turn the Lava Lamp on, it just does not offer enough light to be useful. But thanks for the warning just the same, I would not want goo on the Macs.

Love the setup... Only blemishes are the 4:3 display, and that (is that a Pavillion???) PC. You should get the 20" Cinema Display.... its so much nicer than any of the other displays out there (except of course the 23 and the oooh 30" CDs), but 20" is big enough if you dont mind scaling down HD content a lil bit... actually helps in game and full screen video performance too.
Perhaps eventually, I might get a 23" Cinema Display, but not until I pay off the PowerMac. In the mean time, I'm totally impressed with my 20.1 Viewsonic its (1600x1200). The Pavillion is a modified 3.8GHz with 2GB RAM, PC Power&Cooling PSU, nVidia GeForce 6800 GT OC, 10K RPM Raptor Drive. It runs 12,000+ in 3D-Mark. Think of it as a sleeper, it does not look like much but it is fast. I used to build my own PCs, but off-the-shelf is cheaper right now.
The above comment is mine, I forgot to add my name. I forgot to add the Pavillion uses Intel's new PCI-Express bus for video, and has the SoundBlaster Audigy 2 sound card. Its a very capable gaming machine. It also holds it's own quite nicely against the Dual G5 on Photoshop regardless of Apple's benchmarks. At the time, I purchased that Machine the CPU alone from New Egg cost $800 I thought why build, when I can get the whole PC for a only a little more money.

Nice setup and desk! I'd hate to see your credit card bill.

I'd hate to see the power bill

bsnoel, could you provide a link to a site that sells those desks? I couldn't locate them on Office Depot's site. Thanks!

I Found The DESK!!! Office Depot® Windon Computer Desk, 31 1/2 "H x 60 1/16"W x 29 7/8"D, Oak "http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=157105&No=20&Ne=6+1+10313&Nr=FILTER(domestic)&N=1000000137+10324&An=browse" Copy and paste between the quotes. PS.... I think this effort calls for a 5 star vote.

I love Sounsticks. I wish they would change the bottom ring "stand" color to white. Instead of that bluish-gray.

I love the soundsticks too. Great setup!

How did you get the SONY DRX-700UL DVD Burner to work with your Mac Mini?! Please help! I want to do the same.

Patchburn will get the dvd working

Liking silver and light wood must be another Apple user trait I love it

Bsnoel is it true, you can hook up your mini to your PowerMac using firewire and using the mini as a extra drive. I'm thinking on getting a PowerMac for christmas and I might try to hook up my mini to the powermac and if that does not work I just get rid of the mini.
If you have a network, then you can mount the disk in the mini on your PowerMac and it will appear to be part of the filesystem. In my case, I'm just using my mini as a storage server and sharing the disks out.
