I recommend you finish off the 2X4's and place the mini and the DVD RW where the blank CD's are sitting, to give a feeling of more space. Plug your mouse into your keyboard to free up a USB 2.0 port (unless you going into a KVM switch)

I actually did move the Mini and the DVD Drive below.... but no I am not using a KVM, the mouse cable is too long and I dont like it all over my desk

For a long mouse cord, I usually wrap them in a circle and zip tie them near the keyboard. Another option (seeing you're crafty) is to drill a mouse hole about 6-8 inches ahead of the mouse (enough so the cable is flexible and use a round desk insert to finish it off. You can make another one for the keyboard cable. Come back up through it and attach the mouse.
