Mark B's Mac mini setup
* Core 2 Duo mini
* Piggy back to a 500GB firewire external drive.
* Apple wireless keyboard and Mouse
* Pioneer Home Cinema Amplifer (VSX-LX50)
* KEF 5.1 Speakers
* 40" 1080p Sony TV (DVI->HDMI point to point)
* Elagato TV usb stick
* Pioneer Upscaling DVD Player
* Nintendo Wii
* Homechoice Set-top box (TV via phone line and IPTV)
* iPhone
* Net gear g wireless router

* Awesome sound for music, games, TV and movies from all sources as it runs via the amp.
* Big panel as a computer dashboard.
* All DVD's are copied to the 500GB disk using 'Handbrake' (can rip a 5.1 source). No more flipping dvd's and cd's.
* All this also feeds into a smaller screen (26in Samsung LCD TV and Apple TV) in the bedroom

* I need to get a universal remote control (any recommendations guys?), timecapsule (with it comes out), pioneer iPod dock and different front speakers (the amp is 7.1 so I really need two more speakers!) Also toying with the idea of a blu-ray player but also think that the future is digital downloads....

I totally agree, the future is in digital and wireless over internet. Downloading, streaming, renting on net. Nice setup! How do you feed it to your second screen in your bedroom? I also want to use two screens on my mac mini's, but haven't found any useful solution yet. I have seen VGA, but I would really like digital sharing.

The second tv is a in essence a different system with the apple tv streaming the digital media onto the tv! Works well - the only hassle is the mini needs to be on and itunes needs to be open to do so.
